"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." (Hebrews 10:24-25)

By no means is the life of the church limited to Sunday morning, but that is when we gather together as one family, one body, to be nourished, strengthened, and to corporately give glory to God. Our Sunday morning schedule is listed below.

  • 10:00 - Corporate Worship

Each Sunday morning we gather at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary for traditional corporate worship. We heartily encourage bringing children of all ages, but a Cry Room is available for parents who are more comfortable there. Large print worship materials are also available for those who need them.

Through our traditional worship services, we attempt to display an appropriate level of reverence toward the God who is our Creator, Savior and Sustainer, and join in the worship of saints both around the world today and from millennia past.

  • 11:30 - Sunday School

In addition to learning from the Word of God in the context of our corporate worship, we also offer Sunday School. If you would like to join our adult class live online, please contact the church office via email here, or by phone at 810-736-4100, and you will be provided a streaming link.

We are currently studying the book of Exodus, and will be looking at chapters 7-11 in the coming weeks. This is the story of the miraculous signs (the ten plagues) that show God’s sovereignty over Pharaoh, Egypt and her gods.  At the end of this conflict the Israelites are set free from their bondage in Egypt to worship the Lord and begin their journey to the Promised  Land - the land the Lord had promised to Abraham and his descendants. Throughout these chapters the Lord teaches us deep theological truths, reveals much about His character, who He is, and what He requires of us.

  • 11:00 - Fellowship

Fellowship is one of the key aspects of the Church, and Calvary celebrates this with a rich heritage of fellowship. Each Sunday morning, smiles abound and the warm din of friendly voices fills our Fellowhip Hall as we commit to simply spending time with one another.  During this time we gather together to share a doughnut or a piece of fruit, share a cup of of coffee, and share life.
